A year later, she moved to South Africa, where annual family holidays with her wildlife-enthusiast father deepened her connection to the continent’s untamed beauty. While studying law, life took an unexpected turn, leading her into the world of travel and tourism—a journey that would span over three decades.

From working as a national tourist guide in South Africa to managing tours for UK operators, consulting for travel companies, and even navigating the aviation industry, Julie has spent 32 years curating extraordinary Southern African experiences. Her passion extends beyond travel; she is deeply committed to uplifting communities and showcasing the rich culture, people, and landscapes of this remarkable region.
